Q.  How do I get my car rental invoice?

Q.  What type of driver's licence is required?
A.  To rent an Avis car, you will need a valid driving licence only. Remember to have your original driving license with you
Q.  How old do I need to be to rent?
A.  You can rent from Avis when you are 18 years old or over (you will need to have held a driving licence for at least 24 months and a credit card). A Young Driver Surcharge is applicable for drivers under the age of 25.
Q.  Can I choose the specific model that I would like to rent?
A.  Normally you will be able to select a car group but not a specific model.
Q.  How can I pay for my rental?
A.  You can use the following payment cards to pre-pay for your voucher online: Visa (excluding Visa Electron), MasterCard and American Express If you choose not to prepay your rental on line you can pay at the rental counter. The accepted payment cards are Visa MasterCard and American Express
Q.  Can I cancel my reservation free of charge?
A.  Cancellations up to 24 hours before the rental can be made free of charge.

A. Avis charges in periods of 24 hours so regardless of whether you rent for 2 hours or 24 hours, the charge will be for one day. If you are returning the car more than 24 hours in advance, the refund will depend on the type of rate you have booked.
